A new set of investors are eyeing Barbados to open a new bank, which will give support to innovators, small business people and bolster those areas finding it difficult to get financing.
Managing Partner of the holding company Christian Briggs, who was in Barbados for meetings told the Morning Report about the plans.
The General Counsel for the bank Mandy Gunasekara, says they have been working diligently to get the process for the bank set up.
She says they want to help the money stay in Barbados.
There is no name as yet because approvals are still pending but there is a lot in store for Barbados.
