The National Union of Public Workers (NUPW) has a new president.
Kimberley Agard came out on top in Thursday’s election, amassing 393 votes over Fabian Jones’ 183.
It was a clean sweep for Team New Guard, with Charles Bostic winning 1st Vice President over Daria Cave, John Parris 2nd Vice President over David Denny, and O’Brien Smith taking 3rd Vice President over McLita King.
General Treasurer Pat Humphrey and Deputy General Treasurer Roy Greenidge were both unopposed.
Ms. Agard thanked supporters and everyone who participated in the process.
She says the team will work assiduously to ensure members have the necessary support.
