Minister of Labour, Social Security and the Third Sector Colin Jordan, as he highlighted the benefits of NIS stressed Government recognises it is an important aspect of decent work.
The Labour Minister as he led off debate on the National Social Security Amendment Number 2 Bill in the Lower House says the new regime provides flexibility.
Mr. Jordan announced the minimum annual payment of contributions for self-employed persons will be 12 hundred dollars.
The NIS will be ready for the transition from December 1st.
