Revellers will be taking a brand new route when they hit the road for Grand Kadooment 2024.
The new route starts at the Helipad in Bridgetown, then proceeds onto Princess Alice Highway before turning onto Prescod Boulevard.
It will then continue along President Kennedy Drive, before turning left at Barbarees Hill, then left at the Eagle Hall junction by the traffic lights.
From there, the route goes along Black Rock Main Road, then turns left at the Frank Worrell Roundabout and onto the Mighty Grynner Highway, where the parade ends.
Bands will enter Kensington Oval.
The new route was announced moments ago by President of the Barbados Association of Masqueraders Jason Thompson, during the 2024 Season of Emancipation and Crop Over Media Launch ongoing at Ilaro Court.
