As it pursues delinquent employers who fail to pay in workers contributions, the National Insurance Scheme has secured an arrangement that should see it collect more than 20 million dollars of outstanding funds.
This revelation from Director Kim Tudor on TV8’s The People’s Business, which focused on the topic, ‘NIS – the Way Forward’.
She said an amnesty offered by Government saw 198 employers coming forward under a payment plan that will allow the NIS to get about 22 million dollars in arrears.
