Barbadians will have more opportunities to join in on the discussion on the National Insurance Scheme.
This as the town hall meetings on the topic: “How Can We Revitalise the National Insurance Scheme – For Us, Our Children and Grandchildren”, will continue on Wednesday, August 17th and on Thursday, August 18th.
On August 17th, the town hall meeting will be held at the Alexandra School, Queen’s Street, St. Peter starting at 6:00 p.m.
On August 18th, the meeting will be convened at the Princess Margaret School, Six Roads, St. Philip, again from 6:00 p.m.
Both are expected to be attended by Deputy Chairman of the National Insurance Board Rawdon Adams, Chairman Leslie Haynes, NIS Director Kim Tudor and NIS Actuary Derek Osborne.
Members of the public are encouraged to join the discussion which will also be live streamed on social media.
