Barbados has been reassured by Minister of Energy Senator Lisa Cummins there’s no Government interference in the decisions made by the Fair Trading Commission (FTC).
Senator Cummins, the Leader of Government Business in the Senate maintains the FTC remains in law a quasi-judicial body.
She was at the time contributing to Debate on the Utilities Regulation (Amendment) Bill.
