Barbados can expect an increase in sargassum seaweed arriving on the island from February next year.
This is according to Director of the Coastal Zone Management Unit, Dr. Leo Brewster.
His estimation is based on projections from an outlook bulletin produced by the Centre for Resource Management and Environmental Studies (CERMES), University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus.
