The National Petroleum Corporation is looking to upgrade its ageing pipeline network across the island to reduce gas leaks or non-revenue gas.
Many of its pipelines are over 25 years old and Energy Minister Senator Lisa Cummins says this has been a big challenge for the entity.
The NPC is also planning to intensify the ongoing calibration of its gas meters.
