Ocean Fisheries extends helping hand through sponsorship

Local fish processing company, Ocean Fisheries Limited remains upbeat despite suffering heavy losses due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company’s Managing Director, Frank Jordan says things are looking positive.

Ocean Fisheries, which will be celebrating its 35th anniversary next year, took a decision to maintain staff levels at the height of the pandemic.

Mr. Jordan agrees the fisheries sector needs to be treated differently given its importance.

Ocean Fisheries Limited as part of its commitment to assisting young Barbadians, sports people and the community has been extending a helping hand through sponsorship.

Reigning Pic O De Crop king iWeb is one of those receiving sponsorship from the company.

He presented his winning trophy to Mr. Jordan for a closer look.

For iWeb, the support of sponsors is critical as it’s difficult for artistes without sponsorship.
