Oistins Main Road to be milled and paved

Oistins Main Road, Christ Church will be closed on Tuesday, April 2 as an Infra Construction Inc. team will begin milling and paving the road.

The road work will stretch to the junction at Thornbury Hill to Maxwell, in the vicinity of Lighthouse Bay Apartments.

The Ministry of Transport and Works says the work is part of its Accelerated Mill and Pave Programme and will be done between 7:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. for approximately seven nights pending unforeseen circumstances.

Motorists are advised that traffic will be diverted onto Thornbury Hill towards Cane Vale Road onto Maxwell Coast Road additionally a detour will be set up at Cane Vale Road.

MTW says that local and emergency vehicles will be accommodated where possible.

Road users are encouraged to follow directions provided by the traffic wardens and signage.
