Classes at the Daryll Jordan Secondary School will be held online tomorrow and Monday, as a result of a cow itch problem at the school.
Principal Ken Layne, confirmed that some students and teachers were unwell today as a result of the environmental issue, which he says occurs annually.
A number of teachers reportedly left school as a result of the problem. However, Mr. Layne told CBC News there were still enough teachers to adequately supervise students until the scheduled end time at 1:00 p.m.
According to the Principal, the Barbados Agricultural Management Company has agreed to clear the cow itch infected area over the weekend.
