Although Jonathan Jones didn’t medal in tonight’s 400 metre finals at the World Athletics Championships, he has done Barbados proud with efforts that saw him taking to the starting line as one of the world’s fastest men in that event.
Jones, who ran out of lane 2, came 8th with a time of 46.13.
American Michael Norman took the Gold with a time of 44.29, followed by Grenada’s Kirani James with Silver in a time of 44.48. Britain’s Matthew Hudson-Smith took the Bronze in 44.66.
