Park & ride service for Independence Day Parade

Members of the public attending Thursday’s Independence Day Parade at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex will be able to take advantage of a free park and ride service.

The park and ride locations are Massy Stores Super Centre Warrens; PriceSmart, Green Hill; The Dome Mall, Warrens; the Barbados Port Inc.’s Cube Blue Building, all in St. Michael, and Queen’s College, Husbands, St. James.

Limited tickets for access to the Usain Bolt Sports Complex are available via barbadosidcpublic6.rsvpify.com.

Those individuals with restricted mobility are asked to indicate such when registering via the links provided, so that appropriate transportation can be provided.

Shuttles will be available from 6:15 a.m., and will be on standby for return trips to the park and ride sites after the departure of the President, Her Excellency The Most Honourable Dame Sandra Mason, and Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley.

The shuttle service ends one and a half hours after the departure of the dignitaries.
