The Ministry of Health is advising the public that a limited supply of Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 booster vaccines are now available.
In a BGIS release, it encouraged the public, particularly the elderly and those with underlying illnesses, to take advantage of the available COVID-19 booster vaccine, even though the pandemic has declined with little transmission or hospitalisation occurring on the island.
The booster vaccines will only be administered at the Winston Scott and Branford Taitt Polyclinics from Monday, December 18, to Friday, December 22, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The vaccines were received from the Government and people of Panama.
