An effort is being made to slash the occurrence of non communicable diseases in Barbados in half in the next seven years.

As such, they are calls for a change in the way the public is sensitised in the fight against NCDs.
Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Wellness Dr. Sonia Browne made the call as she and other medical officials attended the launching of the new National Non Communicable Diseases Commission in the Conference Room of the Ministry of Health and Wellness today.
