Detectives in the Northem Division Criminal Investigation Department, have arrested and formally charged Brian O’Neal Alleyne with the murder of 88-year-old Rupert Alleyne on May 28, 2021.
The 43-year-old man of Babylon Road, Belleplaine, St Andrew, appeared at the District ‘B’ Magistrates Court, Blackmans, St Joseph before Magistrate Douglas Frederick today. He was not required to plead to the charge which is indictable.
He is scheduled to reappear at the District ‘F’ Belleplaine Court, Cane Garden, St Thomas on Monday 13 September.
