Police identify man found hanging

Police have confirmed the identity of the man found hanging earlier today, as 45-year-old Jagadesh Guli Mirchandani.

Mirchandani, who resided at #9 2nd Avenue Valley View, Walkers, St George, was found hanging at the “Daily Depot” store at Tudor Street, Bridgetown earlier today.

Police received a telephone call at their Operations Control Room about 4:30 pm, that a man was found hanging by his neck from a rope attached to the roof of a building that housed the store. That scene is located on the third floor of the building.
