The Northern Division of the Barbados Police Service is conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding the drowning of 64-year-old Stephen Peter Licorish, of no fixed place of abode.
The unresponsive body of Licorish, who is formerly of Alexandria, St. Peter, was discovered about 8:50 a.m. on Sunday, July 23, 2023, in the area of the northern side of the Speightstown Jetty, Queens Street, St. Peter.
Police noted that “on the mentioned date and time, two pedestrians who were on the mentioned jetty noticed that the body was face down and floating in the water. A medical doctor pronounced death and a family member identified the body.”
