Police identify victim in fatal shooting

Police have identified the man who lost his life in a shooting incident at Lynches, St. Philip on Saturday.

He is Patrick Moore, 51 years, of River Land, St. Philip.

Police say around 8:40 last evening a group of people were liming and playing dominoes under a streetlight in the area when a vehicle approached.

A number of masked men jumped out and started shooting, causing the crowd to scatter.

Moments later, the body of a man was found with several injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one else was injured.
