Police have identified the man who was electrocuted while at work in Salters, St. George on Wednesday.
He is 46-year-old Patrick Jones, of Colleton Tenantry, St. John.
Jones, a general worker, was reportedly working on the roof of a building under construction.
He was handling a long metal object which was being hoisted by a crane. The object came into contact with power lines, causing him to be electrocuted before he fell to the ground.
The man was assisted by others on the scene, before being taken to hospital by ambulance.
However, he died while receiving medical treatment.
