Officials of the National Cultural Foundation and the Police Senior Command met this afternoon to discuss arrangements for the remaining Crop Over events.
Led by Commissioner of Police Richard Boyce and CEO of the NCF Carol Roberts-Reifer the teams held discussions at the Boardroom of the Police Headquarters.
According to a release from the Police Service, talks were held to finalise operational plans to ensure the events are safe, successful and incident free.
Specific emphasis was placed on the Foreday Morning event and Kadooment Day route, the need to reassure the patrons and general public of policing of the route and their safety.
