A brazen bandit robbed a police officer of money and other valuables at gunpoint.
This was confirmed by the Department of Communications and Public Affairs of the Barbados Police Service, which indicated that lawmen were indeed investigating the matter. The name of the officer however has been withheld.
Lawmen say the incident occurred around 11:28 p.m. in the Silver Hill, Christ Church area.
According to police, the armed bandit robbed the officer of his wallet, containing just over $120 and two gold chains, before fleeing the scene.
