Police are at the scene of an unnatural death, in the area of Castle Heights at its junction with Eastbourne Main Road, St. Philip.
Around 9:50 last night, it was reported that a number of loud gunshots were heard before a car travelling along the road ran off the carriageway, striking some shrubbery in front of a residence.
The body of an adult male was found slumped in the driver’s seat.
He was pronounced dead by a medical doctor who visited the scene.
Investigations are ongoing.
