An assessment of the level of poverty in Barbados is set to get underway in June.
Research Analyst in the Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, Reanne Gibson says up-to-date information is critical to ensure proper planning of programmes.
The last study was done in 2016 by the Inter-American Development Bank.
