Prepare for water outages

Store water and brace for disruptions and outages to the water supply over the coming days.

That’s the message that the top brass of the Barbados Water Authority issued to residents and businesses in the east and south served by the Hampton Pumping Sation.

During a press briefing at the site, General Manager Keithroy Halliday and a team of engineers explained the works are significant and critical.

Mr. Halliday also spoke about some of the mitigation efforts the authority will be executing.
