Prime Minister Mottley to proceed on holiday

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has announced she will be taking a break, and will be going on holiday from today, Saturday, August 26, for ten days.

Noting that she has put off taking some time off for a long time, the Prime Minister says she will be leaving the island and will eventually return to her regular duties on September 3.

She says it comes after what has been a very hectic stretch over the past few months.

During Ms. Mottley’s holiday, Deputy Prime Minister Santia Bradshaw will act as Prime Minister.
