A major focus is being placed on arresting the advance of cybercrime in Barbados.
So much so that a Cybercrime Bill Workshop is now underway at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre. It is hoped that from it a new Cybercrime Bill will be presented to Cabinet by the end of the year.
The workshop is being headed by the chairman of the Law Reform Commission Sir David Simmons.
The three-day session is being attended by members of the judiciary, the magistracy as well as local, regional and international stakeholders.
Trevor Thorpe reports.
