The Queen Elizabeth Hospital is on a mission to boost staff morale, enhance its culture and become the best employer in the country.
One of the major initiatives to achieve these goals is the Monthly Employee Awards.
The first batch of 63 employees from across several departments, were recognised for their selfless service over time and especially during the recent cyber attack.
Bed Manager, Monique Edward was the toast of the evening as she received the Chairman’s Award.
Executive Chair, Juliette Bynoe-Sutherland shares the rationale behind the initiative.
She adds they’re also going to be encouraging more peer to peer recognition.
