A word of advice to doctors to take time along their medical journey to communicate more with patients and their families.

This was the message from Director of Medical Services at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Anthony Harris, who stresses this is the ideal base to foster a relationship of trust.

Mr. Harris was addressing 22 new medical interns comprising 19 women and 3 men at a meet and greet session in the QEH auditorium.

He was accompanied by Chief Operations Officer at the QEH Dr. Christine Greenidge.

The Medical Director urged the young physicians to listen to the concerns of patients.

Two of the interns also shared their feelings.
