Questions over fire safety in the City

Is the City fire safe?

That’s the question we’re attempting to answer in light of the general increase in fires recorded in Barbados so far for the year.

While Bridgetown has not been hit and has not seen a major fire for a few years now, the dangers posed by one-door stores remains a reality.

The Barbados Fire Service has been responding to this threat, but the real concern is if business owners have been making the investment to be deemed fire safe.
