As Barbados inches closer to becoming a Republic, the Republican Status Transition Advisory Committee says the step is a continuation of a journey, as the island recognizes its maturity at 55.
Member, Suleiman Bulbulia, says the country is confident in saying to the United Kingdom and the rest of the world, Barbados can be its own shepherd and steward despite its size.
