The public is advised that crews from the Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources (MTWW) will continue painting the recently paved section of the ABC Highway from 7:00 tonight until 4:00 a.m., weather permitting.
The recently paved area extends from the Clyde Walcott roundabout to the Norman Niles roundabout.
In a release, the MTWW noted that due to rainfall last night, the crews were unable to complete the road markings.
As a result of the work, motorists are advised that the southbound lanes will be closed during the painting and all traffic will travel on the northbound lane.
The MTWW has encouraged motorists to use alternative routes to avoid any inconvenience and thanks the public for its cooperation.
