The public is advised that painting of the recently paved section of the ABC Highway from the Clyde Walcott roundabout to the Norman Niles roundabout is expected to continue tonight, weather permitting.
The work is to be carried out between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m.
In a release, the Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources (MTWW) noted that its crews were unable to complete the road markings last night, due to rainfall.
Motorists are asked to note that the southbound lanes will be closed during the painting and all traffic will travel on the northbound lane.
The MTWW is encouraging drivers to use alternative routes to avoid any inconvenience.
