The 200 dogs that completed the historic Ruffugee flight from Barbados to Canada last year have been settling in well at their new homes.
One of the organisers and Founder of Ocean Acres Animal Sanctuary, Karen Whittaker, provided the update.
Given the success stories of the 2021 flight, and once feasible, the organisers are open to having a similar flight in the future.
Ms. Whittaker says one dog in particular, named Cookie, proved to be a hero for her owners.
