TEN Habitat, in partnership with CIBC FirstCaribbean Bank, has launched a series of scholarships for female entrepreneurs.
The launch took place at TEN Habitat’s new Wildey location, where temporary offices for entrepreneurs have been set up.
TEN Habitat founder Selwyn Cambridge says they’ve observed a need to provide programmes focusing on women.
Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer of CIBC Mark St. Hill says the sponsorship is worth several thousand dollars.
He says the aim is to help stimulate the creation of new female-led businesses.
