The Christ Church Girls School is moving to create a culture of kindness and strengthen the emotional intelligence of students.
The Water Street institution has launched what it calls its Kindness Challenge.
It is being spearheaded by the school’s Positive Behaviour Management Programme, as we hear from Coordinator Deborah Jones.
One of the main activities under the challenge has been a food drive where a range of items are collected in barrels at the school for individuals and families in need.
Some of the students have been sharing their thoughts on the initiative with us.
