The search continues for 45-year-old Colombian national, Edward Rueda.
He went missing at sea on Christmas Day after being swept by a wave from the cliffs near the Animal Flower Cave.
Rueda arrived in Barbados back in September and was working as a tradesman for Jada builders.
CBC News has been reliably informed that his family is in contact with the Barbadian authorities.
The Barbados Coast Guard as well as the Barbados Defence Force’s Marine Unit have been actively searching the area but poor visibility and unfavourable sea conditions remain an issue.
