Member of Parliament for St. Michael South Central, Marsha Caddle agrees with the proposed measures for self-employed people, which makes provision for seasonal workers to pay contributions to the National Insurance Scheme when they can.
During Debate on the National Insurance and Social Security (Amendment) Bill 2023, she appealed to self-employed people not to withhold their contributions, with the intention of using the cash in hand if something were to happen to them.
