A small earthquake was recorded offshore Barbados early this morning.
The Seismic Research Centre of the University of the West Indies says the the 3.9 earthquake struck at 5:27 a.m.
It was recorded at latitude 13.19 North and longitude 59.02 West or 66 kilometres east of Bridgetown.
The quake struck at a depth of 10 kilometres.
