St. Mary’s Anglican Church has been singled out for its contribution to the development of historic Bridgetown.
It’s coming from Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office with Responsibility for Culture and the National Development Commission, John King.
He made the comment as he addressed the congregation at the Church during a special service to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the inscription of Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison, as a World Heritage property.
The tenth anniversary is also being observed during Heritage Month.
