A 29-year-old man is in critical condition following a stabbing incident at Haggatt Hall, St. Michael at 10:10 a.m.
CBC understands that the young man was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance and underwent emergency surgery.
An eyewitness recalled the victim who lives at Chapel Gap, St. Michael rushed into a nearby shop appealing for help before collapsing.
Good samaritans attempted to apply pressure to the stab wound until emergency personnel arrived.
The area was cordoned off and traffic diverted as the police carried out investigations.
