The stage is set and all systems are go for the National Independence Thanksgiving Service come Sunday.
Barbadians young and old have been encouraged to take part in the service, in celebration of Barbados’ 57th anniversary of Independence at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium in Wildey.
It is being held under the theme “Embracing Our Heritage with Faith and Thanks”.
Last evening, a site visit was held as organisers, participating ministers and groups rehearsed for the event.
The focus this year is on youth participation.
Dr. Nigel Taylor, member of the 2023 Planning Committee anticipates Barbadians will turn out in their numbers.
