Minister of State in the Attorney General’s Office with Responsibility for Crime Prevention, Corey Lane, is calling on Barbadians to assess Government’s initiatives to quell the surge of crime.
Minister Lane was speaking during a presentation of books earlier today at the St. Stephen’s Primary School.
When questioned about whether the National Peace Programme and a truce between two warring gangs had been a success given the decline in major crimes.
Minister Lane says statistics showed there has been a steady decline in crime.
