Students, teachers take advantage of counselling sessions

Thousands of students and scores of teachers have taken advantage of counselling sessions provided by the Ministry of Education.

Word of this from the Senior Psychologist in the Student Support Unit of the Ministry of Education, Juanita Brathwaite-Wharton.

She says mental health has always been a focus for the ministry, which has been providing the necessary support at the Primary and Secondary levels.

According to her, the recent counselling sessions went well and students are eager to return to school.
