The Ministry of Transport and Works is advising the public that Swanns Bridge in Swanns, St. Andrew in the vicinity of Rock Hall, has been closed.
The MTW says the bridge is dangerous and should not be used. An engineering team from the Ministry will conduct an assessment to determine the nature of reconstructive works.
Road users heading towards Rock Hall, St Andrew via Walkers/Bawdens will now need to divert onto Farley Hill to Mile and A Quarter onto Black Bess to enter Rock Hall.
The MTW has apologised for the inconvenience caused.
