There is a temporary interruption of the telephone service at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH).
The QEH addressed the matter in a statement from the Chief Operations Officer, Dr. Christine Greenidge.
Dr Greenide explained that there was “an interruption of Flow Telephone Service today Monday, April 24, 2023.
“Members of the public are asked to dial 260-0036 to reach the QEH PBX. The 536-4800 telephone number for the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (previously Help Desk) remains unaffected. Teams are currently dealing with the issue.”
It ended by stating that, “we humbly apologise for any inconvenience this unexpected issue may cause”. (PR)
