The Minister of Home Affairs is calling on social media vloggers to stop politicising sexual offences and blaming these matters squarely on the Government.
Speaking on the sidelines of a Sex Offender Officer Summit by the Probation Service at the Radisson this morning, he said a video accusing the Government of covering up a recent sex offence was repeatedly sent to him and he finds it hard to understand how individuals can be so irresponsible.
Minister Abrahams added the case which involved a teacher was carried in the media and it is therefore hard to fathom how the Government is covering up when the matter is public.
He says the court system will address the matter.
