Former Deputy Speaker of the House and Member of Parliament Neil Rowe has had the date for the rape trial set for June 11 this year.
This after he was arraigned this morning in the No. 5 Supreme Court before Madam Justice Pamela Beckles.
Mr. Rowe, who is the current St. Michael North West MP pleaded not guilty to the charge that he had sexual intercourse with a woman on September 18, 2022, without her consent, knowing she did not consent or was reckless as to whether she consented.
He was represented by Senior Counsel Michael Lashley.
