Nineteen scholarships, totalling $168,000 have been distributed by the Foundation School Old Scholars Scholarship Fund since its establishment. The fund set up in 2015 assists recent graduates of the school.
The latest awardees recognized for their academic achievements are Kovian Kellman and Caleb Jones. Kellman is pursuing a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics and Jones, a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of the West Indies.
Representatives of the Fund were present at the Christ Church Foundation School for the scholarship presentation. The scholarship is valued at three thousand dollars annually for three years – contingent on good performance.
Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Fund, Judith Gill told the Foundation School students the old scholars support them in their excellence.
